Register now for the ROS Summer School 2026 and start your journey into the world of modern robotics with ROS2.
Registering for the ROS Summer School 2026 gives you the opportunity to take part in one of the most practice-oriented intensive courses in modern robotics in Germany. In cooperation with FH Aachen and MYBOTSHOP GmbH, you’ll learn in just ten days how to programme, control and prepare real robots for autonomous operation using ROS2 – the Robot Operating System 2. The training is aimed both at newcomers to robotics and at advanced participants who want to deepen their knowledge of autonomous navigation, sensor integration, robot software and distributed systems with ROS2. You’ll work with state-of-the-art robotic systems, potentially accompanied by the Clearpath Husky, the Unitree Go2 robot dog, the humanoid Unitree G1 and self-balancing robots such as Ascento Research (robot availability may vary).
This hands-on training combines theoretical foundations with practical exercises, team projects and live demos. The programme covers topics such as SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), image processing with OpenCV, hardware integration, transformations with TF2 and navigation with Nav2. In addition, you can look forward to intensive workshops, coding sessions and direct exchange with specialists from industry, research and development. Participation in the ROS Summer School is limited to a restricted number of places in order to ensure individual support and strong learning outcomes.
By taking part, you’ll gain not only solid knowledge of ROS2 and robot programming, but also valuable contacts for your professional future in automation engineering, mechatronics or artificial intelligence. The ROS Summer School is the ideal starting point for anyone looking to gain a foothold in modern robotics or to pursue targeted further training. Take the opportunity to register now and become part of a forward-looking educational format that combines theory, practice and networking in a unique way.
